Enemies of Pakistan Behind The May 13 Terrorist Attack in Karachi. The Question Is, Which of The Enemies? A Conspiracy Theory!

The atrocious act of terrorism in Karachi today has yet again proved that the enemies of Pakistan are constantly at work. In response to this heinous act, the government and law enforcing authorities have reiterated the resolve against all sorts of terrorism and pledged to bring down all those responsible.

Who are these people and who is aiding and abetting them? Well, that’s the question which has never been answered in a satisfactory manner ever since such acts started. Does this mean we don’t know who these enemies of Pakistan and humanity are? Actually, we do know about each and every person, group, organisation and state behind all this. All one needs is a clear mind and average intelligence to get to the bottom of this all.

It is being reported in the media that RAW (Indian intelligence agency Research & Analysis Wing) is actively involved in activities against the country and has stepped up these efforts tenfold in the present day. At face value, it is an open secret that RAW has been, and is working against Pakistan since its very inception. However, we tend to neglect the other important factors that have been and are continuously playing a dangerous role in this game of interests.

If we look closely at the geo-political developments taking place in the current global scenario, it would definitely not be difficult to come to alarming conclusions. It is an undeniable fact that India is an open enemy to Pakistan since the partition. On the other hand, keeping in view the ongoing cooperation between Pakistan & China in the areas of trade, defence, infrastructure and energy, one mustn’t be surprised when the complete reality is revealed.

In the wake of the recent Cino-Pak agreements and MOUs and meticulous analysis of geo-political as well as economic facts & figures, we should be able to ascertain those at loss here. In fact, India is not the ONLY state to directly suffer from the economic and social development & stability in Pakistan. Take the Gwadar port for that matter. Whose interests are in danger due to the development of this important strategic deep sea port?

Upon reviewing and analysing the trade history and economic routes of the region, one would realise that before Gwadar, there were two nearest states that could have played a part in the greater game with their strategically located ports. Yes, you are right; the ports of UAE and Chabahar or Chah Bahar and Bandar Abbas in Iran. Viewing strategically, one must admit that although UAE Port operations would suffer when Gwadar is fully operational (as per the future planning and development is concerned), Chabahar is the closest in terms of geo-location.

Now the reader might be thinking about the connection of these ports with Gwadar. The point here is, UAE ports are currently the largest trading channels in the region at present. Iran’s Bandar Abbas is also of significant value but Chabahar, being the closest to the Arabian Sea provides greater access for cargo to and from Central Asia. Unfortunately for these countries, Gwadar has diminished their opportunities for future growth by being located at a far better and highly strategic position.

Gwadar Port
When Gwadar Port becomes fully operational, it would not only cater to the logistic requirements of Central Asia, but also provide China with a shorter and more economical trade route than they already have. Not to leave Russia out of this as they have been in dire need of warmer waters since the beginning of time. This scenario does not work well with the state administrations of UAE and Iran. Of course, the bulk of their current and future business is dearly threatened by the one Gwadar Deep Sea Port. At this point, the reader must be confused regarding how all this connects UAE and Iran to the current situation of Pakistan!

It is being reported in the news media that Iran is expanding its Chabahar port with the help of India. India!? Yes, India, our closest neighbour in the east and our worst enemy. Even a noodle can understand why India is helping Iran with Chabahar and NOT Pakistan with Gwadar. This is only because the Indians hate to see Pakistan getting any benefit from anywhere for the matter of that. If they wanted to get any kind of business gains from a trade route, what could have been better than Gwadar? It is geographically closer to India than the other port in question.

Chabahar Port
Interests of states at times work like the interests of individuals. Suppose a shop owner has his outlet at one side of a market. Another is located slightly afar in the centre. However, a new person buys a place right at the entrance of the market closest to the areas from where the customers come from. Now, if this new shop opens, the customers will get the opportunity to buy their required goods right at the entrance of the market. Who would want to go farther down to get what they need then?

Simply put, the clash of interests sometimes turns your closest neighbours into your deadliest enemies. As a conspiracy theory, both the UAE and Iran being supposed victims of Gwadar may be inclined towards sabotaging Pakistan's lifeline project. Although the evidence pointing towards UAE is somewhat weak, there is a frail chance they have something or the other to do with the dirty game. As for our neighbour India, one does not have to toil hard to confirm their involvement in terrorism in the region. India has always posed major threats to its closest neighbour and thus, the current increase in terrorist activities in Pakistan! If one is to damage the interests of a state dearly, they must spread unrest in that area to achieve their goals. That is exactly what India is doing with the help of Iran.

Conspiracy Theories or Actual Facts? The Drama of Rao Anwar's Press Conference and Who Benefits from It.

It took everyone by a bit of surprise when Rao Anwar, a not-so-high level police official came out of nowhere and in a controversial press conference, made intriguing accusations against MQM, a political party having a sizeable presence in both the National Assembly of Pakistan as well Provincial Assembly of Sindh.

"KARACHI: SSP Malir Rao Anwar announced the arrest of two terror suspects last night, whom he claimed were members of Indian spy agency RAW (Research and Analysis Wing)." Reference: http://www.dawn.com/news/1179131/arrested-suspects-affiliated-with-mqm-trained-by-raw-ssp

  • Who is this guy and why is he so aggressively hurling charges at MQM?
  • Are these allegations true?
  • Regardless of the authenticity of these allegations, is it legal for a police official to hold press conferences in such manner (amidst ongoing investigations)?
These questions are although relevant but at this point in time, the more relevant question is; WHO IS this person?

According to news media reports and certain past events, Rao Anwar is a corrupt police official loyal to PPP, The Pakistan Peoples Party in fact, he is reported to be a very close accomplice to Zardari, Zulfiqar Mirza and few others in their alleged crimes against the country. These alleged crimes involve murder and corruption on a mass scale news reports have revealed.

Have a look at the links below to find out some details.

"KARACHI: Sindh Home Minister Dr Zulfiqar Mirza, SP Rao Anwar Ahmed and four other police officers were finally booked on Friday in the killing case of two workers of the Sindh Tarraqi Pasand Party." Reference: http://www.awaztoday.com/News_Sindh-home-minister-SP-booked-in-murder-case_1_1966_Political-News.aspx

After this brief intro of this allegedy corrupt police wala, the readers might be wondering what made this inept officer of the law do this and why. Well, here is what we need to look at in this regard.

  • Rao Anwar is a man having a tarnished image and believed to be a dirty cop.
  • His close ties with Zulfiqar Mirza, Asif Zardari and certain other notorious PPP members has always raised alarms about his professional integrity (no mention of moral or ethical for that matter).
  • Every time when there were serious charges against him, he was either demoted, suspended or transferred but never was he expelled from the police force reasons of which are hitherto undisclosed. Quite intriguing haan?
  • Charges levelled against him thus far include corruption at an extreme level, murder, land grabbing, theft and smuggling of Iranian oil to name a few.
"SP Zakir Hussain from the city of Hyderabad alleges that Malir SSP Rao Anwar and his associates are involved with the land mafia, the excavation of reti bajri or construction gravel and the smuggling of Iranian oil in his area." Reference: http://tribune.com.pk/story/350204/malir-plot-two-police-officers-fight-over-250-acres-land/

The news clip at this link might also be helpful.

Does all this ring any bells? Oh yes!

We all know that MQM is facing hard times these days due to the cleanup operation going on in Karachi. Whether it is a genuine attempt to bring real criminals to justice or just another go at wiping MQM off the political scene (unlikely to happen given the ground realities), only time will tell. This operation cleanup is said to be against CRIMINALS of all sorts irrespective of their political, religious or ethnic affiliation. Now it is CRIMINALS who need to be fearful of the moral courage of the law enforcement authorities here. Right?

Ofcourse! Criminals are in a serious state of fear and trying to divert the attention of the law enforcers as well as the general public away from themselves. Wait a minute. Who are these criminals any way? Well my dear readers, it is these very rogues who are trying to save their own skins by pushing others in the line of fire.

Still a bit confused? Read what's below and you shall be enlightened dear readers!

"Uzair Baloch, currently detained (released a few days prior to publishing of this article) in UAE, claimed that he was in direct contact with the PPP leadership and that he had carried out target killings in the city on the orders of PPP leaders. Some of these orders, he claimed, came from the PPP co-chairman, former Sindh home minister Zulfiqar Mirza, incumbent Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Memon and even PPP leader Owais Muzaffar." Reference: http://tribune.com.pk/story/855999/after-saulat-mirza-uzair-balochs-sensational-revelations-come-to-light/

Upon the fear of being exposed, the PPP leadership and company are seeing themselves in dire straits and are relentlessly trying to make all this stop. Using all their powers to keep Uzair Baloch from coming back to Pakistan, to laying blames on others are few of the tactics being employed therein. Furthermore, it does not end at this. Foreign enemies of our country are also in play over here and trying to make the most of the situation. They are constantly plotting and executing their evil plans against our beloved homeland Pakistan.

Why does all this happen to us over and over again? Sigh! What to say and what not to. We, the general public, who constantly need to be reminded that our rights are being confiscated by these insanely corrupt, murderous and ruthless criminals sitting shamelessly in public offices; are the only ones to be blamed for this all! It is us who vote these hypocritic imbeciles for nothing else but to suck our nation dry of our resources and everything good that we have been blessed with.

P.S.
While this article was being written, it was reported in the news that SSP Rao Anwar was dismissed from duties and transferred to a different jurisdiction by the Sindh Govt. Reference: http://www.thenews.com.pk/article-183276-After-MQM-allegations-Rao-Anwar-dismissed-as-SSP-Malir

The Karachi Cleanup Operation - Really Across The Board? Few Questions Need Answers!

Ever Since its inception, it has been noticed that CRIMINALS from all walks of life affiliated with all sorts of parties are being vehemently pursued by law enforcing authorities throughout the city. This was taken as a positive step towards restoring the law and order situation of Karachi and for the good of all Karachiites. Although many perpetrators of serious or should I say, heinous crimes were apprehended during this clean up operation, there have not been any arrest or prosecution of the actual minds behind the these activities. To be simple and precise, the 'Kings & Queens' are still at large and only the 'Pawns' are being knocked down.

Moreover, there is no information even regarding the small-timers' trials and where the prosecution stands in this regard. How can the hopes of the general public rise when the 'Ringleaders' are either fleeing the country, or being acquitted through 'Media Trials'?

For the past few months it is being propagated in public media and very loudly so, that the current Karachi operation is not against a particular political party or ethnic group. The ground reality however, tells a different story altogether.

The situation of Karachi is rather a complex one in nature as compared to other cities of Pakistan. It is not only the largest city of the country, but also the economic hub generating over 3 quarters of the country's entire revenue. People from all parts of Pakistan come here to earn their livelihood. Along with those in search of legal means of income, the criminal elements also find it a place conducive for their  nefarious activities. This makes it all the more important to keep the city free from all sorts of crimes and lawlessness.

There are all sorts of iniquitous activities taking place in this huge metropolis. Street crimes, bank robberies, target killings, drug business, political & judicial corruption are only few out of a long list. Though it seems to be just a bunch of criminals on the loose in town, the true picture is far more alarming than the obvious. Its not only ordinary crooks that are having their way, enemies of the state both foreign and domestic are also playing the devil's game here. Their objectives besides being monetary gain are none other than the destruction of the city and hence, our beloved country Pakistan - God forbid.

Coming back to our topic, it seems there is no one taking any concrete steps towards restoring Karachi's peace and security. 'Economic Terrorism' for that matter is a recent term being used by few media persons especially on electronic media. All sorts of extortion, land grabbing, money laundering and corruption is prevalent in the country without any respite for the poor citizens of Pakistan. Who and what is going to put an end to this and how and when?

Further to all of the above, it has been observed that till date, the main focus of attention is on a single political party, its leadership, workers and sympathisers. The general public of Karachi fail to understand the "Logic" behind this and very rightly so. Following are few critical questions being raised by the society with regards to the current operation cleanup.

  • Why are the trials of all criminals arrested not being expedited?

  • Why are the 'Real' killers of the Baldia Town terrorism/massacre not being booked and tried in court?

  • Why aren't the masters of a notorious  'Liyari Criminal' being brought to justice?

  • Why is it that the 'Clients' of a 'model/actress' arrested on charges of illegal money trafficking not being questioned?

  • Why the corrupt politicians bureaucrats, policemen, members of the judiciary, MPAs, MNAs and rogue law enforcement officials not being stopped and punished?

  • Why does it seem that the current operation has come to it premature end without any worthwhile results?

It is hoped and prayed for that the corrupt and criminal elements of our society are once and for all brought to justice regardless of their power, authority, affiliation, ethnicity, cast or creed.

A Wrong Is A Wrong!

I recently read an article under the title of “Camel piss drinker V/S Jalebi Mullah” and was actually forced to comment on this pathetic school of thought after reading the whole thing. It is so ironic that people try to defend actions that are wrong in every sense of the matter.

Talking about homosexuality and other related terms, homos are present in each and every society. Be it any religion, cast or creed, there have been homos, thieves, public enemies, swindlers, hypocrites, you name it, in all societies of this world. Moral, social, ethical and all other sorts of corruption prevails in each and every society on large or small scales. However, this does not at all mean that people start coming up giving excuses for such actions. Moreover, they do not have an inkling of the consequences while trying to justify such actions. What is wrong is WRONG and will remain wrong no matter how many try to justify wrong and evil acts.

I’ll give an example here.  Earning a living for oneself and family is a basic human right, but doing that through illegal means can never be justified in any society. Likewise, sexual gratification is a basic human right, but having that through unnatural or illegal means can never be justified. Next time people will start demonstrating in favor of rape. That won’t make it right! It is not about human rights, it is about RIGHT and WRONG. Consumption of alcohol has not been permissible by any religion but it prevails even in most Muslim dominated parts of the world. This however does not mean that it is right to consume alcohol. Similarly, infidelity is unacceptable in all religions and societies but it prevails in almost all parts of the world. Does this mean infidelity should be allowed? So should be the case with homosexuality.

Moreover, terrorism is unquestionably deplorable but not in the eyes of the terrorists. Should we accept it as a norm because a certain number of people agree with it? Of course not! Then why should we accept homosexuality just because it is accepted by some people? A wrong is a wrong!

My questions to all those liberalists are as under:

Why should we accept the wrongs and evils of societies just because it is practiced?
Why shouldn’t we condemn what is wrong?
Why should shamelessness be allowed?

Either you accept it, or condemn it! There is nothing in between. It is a fact that homosexuality is not permissible in any religion and it should be condemned. It doesn’t mean people start gay bashing. Instead, there should be laws to curb such activities just like there are for corruption and other social sins.
I am not in favor of any kind of extremism, religious or otherwise. However, there should always be a line between what’s right and what’s wrong. The advice to people like the writer of the article is to perceive the legitimacy of an act first and then try giving an opinion. Besides, never mock people’s beliefs in any manner just because you belong to a different school of thought.
